Dr. PRIYANKA GUPTA is the First Pediatric Hematologist Oncologist (Childhood Blood Disorders and Cancer Super Specialist) in the State of Punjab to start a separate department in one of the leading Super Speciality Hospitals in the city of Ludhiana in 2011.

The A.B.C. of Pediatrics is based on Anemia, Bleeding disorders and Cancers; which are the leading cause of your child missing school, being irritable, visiting a doctor/or hospitals, and sometimes missing out on life itself.

The task of a pediatric hematologist oncologist is to identify, investigate and cure the disease and to get the child do what he /or she is supposed to do; Be a child and enjoy his /or her childhood as a normal kid.

She completed her M.B.B.S. from Dayanand Medical College & Hospital, Ludhiana, Punjab, India followed by Diplomate National Board in Apollo Center for Advanced Pediatrics, Indraprastha Apollo Hospital, New Delhi, India.

She further completed Fellow Indian Academy of Pediatrics- Pediatric Hematology Oncology, Bai Jerbai Wadia Hospital for Children, Mumbai.

She has 12 years of experience in the field of Pediatric Hematology Oncology. After completing DNB in 2010, She joined SPS Apollo Hospital Ludhiana in February 2011
and remained associated with SPS hospitals for 10 years.

Dr. Priyanka Bansal is specialized in evaluation of patients with Hematological Disorders- Bleeding disorders, Bone marrow failure syndromes, Aplastic anemia, Hemoglobinopathies, Nutritional anemias.

She is a Super specialist in Pediatric Oncology where she looks after the Diagnosis and management of childhood tumours- Acute leukaemia, Brain tumours, Bone tumours, soft tissue sarcomas, Wilms tumour, Neuroblastoma, Hepatoblastomas.
