DR. Jatinder S. Goraya

Dr. Jatinder Singh Goraya is a highly respected Pediatric Neurologist with over three decades of experience in the diagnosis and management of neurological disorders in children. Known for his academic excellence, clinical expertise, and compassionate patient care, Dr. Goraya has dedicated his career to advancing pediatric neurology through clinical practice, research, teaching, and international collaboration.

Currently serving as Senior Consultant Pediatric Neurology at CLIO Mother and Child Institute, Dr. Goraya specializes in treating a wide range of pediatric neurological conditions including epilepsy, developmental disorders, neurometabolic diseases, movement disorders, neurogenetic conditions, and childhood neurological emergencies.

Dr. Goraya completed his MBBS and MD in Pediatrics from Dayanand Medical College and Hospital. He further pursued advanced pediatric and child neurology training in the United States at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children, where he completed his Residency in Pediatrics and Fellowship in Child Neurology. He was awarded the prestigious Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians of Canada (FRCPC) in 2011.

Over the years, Dr. Goraya has held several important academic positions, including Senior Residency at Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research and faculty appointments at Government Medical College and Hospital. He also served as Clinical Instructor in Pediatrics at Drexel University College of Medicine.

At Dayanand Medical College and Hospital, Dr. Goraya served as Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, and later Professor of Pediatric Neurology from 2012 to 2026, contributing significantly to medical education and specialist training in pediatric neurosciences.

An accomplished academician and researcher, Dr. Goraya has authored more than 130 national and international peer-reviewed publications and contributed to several book chapters. He has presented numerous research papers at prestigious conferences and delivered invited lectures across India and abroad.

Dr. Goraya is an active member of several renowned professional organizations including the Indian Academy of Pediatrics, Association of Child Neurologists, Academy of Pediatric Neurology, Indian Epilepsy Association, International Parkinson and Movement Disorder Society, Indian Society for Inborn Errors of Metabolism, National Academy of Medical Sciences, Royal Society of Medicine, and the British Pediatric Neurology Association.
